3670364 - Invalid values error when adding Security Domain ID in Assignment Profiles

Symptom

  • Error message displayed: "There are invalid values. The first few are listed below. Open the picker to see a list of valid values."
  • Security domain ID containing spaces cannot be used in assignment profiles.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to add a rule to an assignment profile using a security domain ID containing spaces.
  2. Observe the error message: "There are invalid values. The first few are listed below. Open the picker to see a list of valid values."

Cause

Security domain IDs containing spaces are not supported for use in assignment profiles.

Resolution

  1. Engineering has confirmed that a code correction will be implemented in version b2605 to remove spaces during the creation of security domain IDs.
  2. As a temporary workaround, use security domain IDs that do not contain spaces.
