3670397 - Bill-to Party Name Appears Twice in Intercompany Billing Document (Scope Item 3ZB) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• When a sales order is automatically created from a purchase order in the intercompany billing process (scope item 3ZB), the Bill-to name field is duplicated.
• The duplication occurs once from the Business Partner (BP) name and once from the AddressAdditionalName in the payload.
• This results in duplicate names appearing on the invoice output form, requiring manual correction of invoices and causing additional workload.

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create an intercompany purchase order that triggers automatic sales order creation in the partner company (scope item 3ZB – Billing of Costs Between Affiliated Companies).
2. Allow the system to automatically generate the sales order and billing document via EDI (OrderRequest_Out → OrderRequest_In).
3. Open the billing document in Manage Billing Documents and preview or print the output form.
4. Observe that the Bill-to Party name appears twice in the address block — once from the Business Partner Name and once from AddressAdditionalName.

• The duplication occurs because both the Business Partner Name (from the address component) and the AddressAdditionalName (from the company code) are transferred from the purchase order into the sales order and billing document.
• These map respectively to Name1 and Name2 in the Bill-to address section, and when both fields contain the same company name, the output form displays them twice.
• This is standard system behavior.

Workarounds

1. In SSCUI 105651, maintain slightly different values for Address Name and Company Code Name to ensure only one line appears on the invoice. Note: Changing the address name in SSCUI changes which value is shown, but not the fact that two name fields exist and are printed. 
2. If a configuration option is desired for future releases, submit a feature request through the SAP Influence Portal for enhancements to intercompany flows.
