3670403 - 2H 2025 Enhanced Search doesn't prioritize courses with classes

Symptom

When using the Enhanced Search feature and clicking "Browse Library," the courses are sorted in descending order, but courses with upcoming classes are not prioritized at the top. The first course displayed is inactive and has no classes, which does not align with the release notes stating that courses with upcoming classes should be prioritized at the top.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

If there are in the system inactive courses with more than one revision, one of them with no classes and one course with an upcoming class, the enhanced search shows at the top of the results' list the inactive course with no classes. In order to check that, it is possible to follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Learning >
  2. 'Browse Learning' / perform a blank search in the Enhanced Search >
  3. First course that appears has no classes.
