3670470 - Missing date range selection in Verify General Journal Entries app (F2547A) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition CE2508

Symptom

  • In the Fiori App Verify general Journal Entries Fiori App - (F2547A), the initial selection of a date range is no longer available.
  • Previously, a date range could be selected in old app Verify general Journal Entries Fiori App - (F2547), but now only a specific date can be chosen as the posting date.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition CE2508.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Fiori App "Verify General Journal Entries for Requestor" (F2547A).
  2. Navigate to the "Posting Date" drop-down menu.
  3. Observe that the option to select a date range is missing, and only single dates and pre-set dates are available for selection.

Resolution

As a temporary solution, use the previous version of the app (F2547) to filter using a date range. The feature will be improved in the upcoming app version F2547A, available in CE2602.
