3670543 - The Valid From/To field in App F2918 Manage Global Hierarchy is missing.

Symptom

Unable to maintain valid from/to for the hierarchy. The Valid From/To field in App F2918 cannot be edited while creating hierarchy.

For example, Consolidation Unit Hierarchy Creation option in system is not visible.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app Manage Global hierarchies.
  2. Create a new hierarchy.
  3. Attempt to maintain valid date.

Cause

Resolution

  1. Copy an existing hierarchy and create a new hierarchy.
  2. Maintain valid time during this process.

  1. Alternatively, maintain valid from/to when creating consolidation unit nodes.
  2. It is possible to set the validity on the node/leaf level.
