3670564 - Error CK322: Consumption Account Cannot Be Determined While Saving Sales Order Cost Estimate

When using the Manage Product Costing Errors app, the following error occurs:
"Consumption account cannot be determined. Message no. CK322."

The issue arises during the process of saving the sales order costing. Although no errors are displayed in the sales order cost estimate itself, there is a missing part in the internal table causing the error.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the "Manage Product Costing Errors" app.
2. Identify the error "Consumption account cannot be determined. Message no. CK322."
3. Open the "Display Sales Order" app.
4. Enter the Sales Order Object ID.
5. Navigate to Menu → Extras → Costing.
6. Confirm that no errors are displayed in the Sales Order costing.

This error is triggered in an event-based costing scenario (scope item 3F0) where saving the sales order cost estimate into the planning table (ACDOCP) is required. In this process, both debit items and credit items are necessary. If account determination is not correctly performed for the credit item, the error occurs while saving the sales order cost estimate to the planning table.

The credit item is not only necessary for the output material (finished product), but also required for component material with Automatic Cost Estimate sign in the costing structure. (check the legend button).

Review Configuration:

• Open SSCUI 100297 (Account Determination for Costing Categories) in the system.
• Perform the necessary configuration according to the instructions provided in the error message.

Reprocess the Error:

After completing the configuration, navigate back to the Manage Product Costing Errors app.
Reprocess the error to ensure the consumption account is correctly determined, and the sales order cost estimate is successfully saved in ACDOCP.
