3670573 - Query with comment cannot be used in web client

Symptom

  • When a query contains a comment, it does not appear listed in the web client.
  • If a query is updated in the web client with a comment, the following error message is triggered:

*Error while loading metadata for the user query from parser: Ensure your query starts with "SELECT" and includes "FROM". Ensure it does not contain any of the following: "#[", "%", "INTO", "UPDLOCK", or "FOR UPDATE", and does not end with a single-line comment. Review your query and try again.*
