3670653 - Error "Items of type Custom Logic: XXX must not be edited in this tenant" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

While accessing the "Custom Logic" app, the system shows one of the following errors:

• "Items of type Custom Logic: BAdI must not be edited in this tenant."
• "Items of type Custom Logic: Behavior Extension must not be edited in this tenant."

1. Open the "Custom Logic" application.
2. Error messages will display.

Using the wrong tenant for creating custom logic.

For implementing business add-ins (BAdIs) and behavior extensions for business objects that have been released by SAP, you need to implement them from the Custom Logic app or from the UI adaptation in an application that can be extended in Development-Customizing (client 100) system. 

For implementing business add-ins (BAdIs) and behavior extensions developed via ADT (ABAP Developer Tools) for development objects, as they are Developer Extensibilities, you need to use the Development-Development (client 080) system.
