3670665 - [2H 2025] Unable to delete tags in Latest Applicant Workbench when same name tags exist in different locales - Recruiting Management

In the legacy workbench, if a tag with the same name has been created with different locales and associated with different candidates, recruiting users are unable to delete the tag in the Latest Applicant Workbench.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to Recruiting -> Click on Job Requisition -> Candidates
2. Switch to Legacy Workbench
3. In the legacy workbench, choose a candidate and add a tag. For Ex "Top Talent" and save the changes.
4. For the same logged in user, Go to Settings -> Change Language -> And Switch to a different language
5. Navigate back to the Legacy workbench and choose a different candidate. Add the same name tag "Top Talent" for the second candidate and save the changes.
6. Now, under the same job requisition switch to the Latest applicant workbench.
7. Select the first candidate for whom we added the tag before switching the locale
8. Go to application details page -> Click on Manage Tags -> Delete the tag "Top Talent" and save it.
9. For the first candidate the tag deletion will be unsuccessful; the tag won't be removed even after deletion.

If the tag deletion is performed the other way around which is if we are deleting the tag "Top Talent" added to the second candidate, then the tag will be removed successfully and followed by this if we are trying to delete the tag added to the first candidate then the tag will be deleted successfully. 

This is a known issue. The issue is planned to be fixed through patch which will be available on Preview on 4th Nov 2025.
