3670688 - Error F5143 occurs during posting before substitution pulls through the substituted cost center

Symptom

When clearing transactions in T-code F-28, users encounter the error message "Correct the marked line items" due to the missing BSEG-KOSTL field. This occurs even when BSEG-PRCTR is predefined in the FI substitution. The cost center is not immediately set for the exchange rate difference (KDF) line, and it is determined only after navigating to the line item and pressing the "Enter" key.
