• The 'Display all Assignments' and  'Change all Assignments' screens in the app CL24N Manage Class Assignments show different results

1. Access the app Manage Class Assignments
2. Input Class Type and Class  ( for example class type 023 and class BATCH_CLASS  )
3. Press Enter 
4. Assignments to the Class are displayed ( Material / BOM Item )
5. Press button 'Change All Assignments' 
6. Fewer assignments are displayed 

The behaviour depends on the customizing 'Master Record Classification' maintained for the class type and object table in the standard delivered customizing Cross-Application Components -> Classification System -> Classes -> Maintain Object Types and Class Types

If the customizing 'Master Record Classification' is not set then the central classification functions such as the app Manage Class Assignments can be used to create, change or deletion assignments but if the customizing 'Master Record Classification' is set then assignments cannot be updated in the Manage Class Assignments app

The 'Change All Assignments' screen will only show assignments that can be changed ( 'Master Record Classification' not set ) .

For Assignments with 'Master Record Classification' set means changing of such classifications should only be allowed in App where the classification can be created or assigned . This restriction ensures that object type specific processing is covered 

System Works as designed.

Please use the apps such Manage Batches , Change Bill of Material ,Manage Routings to create, change or deletion of assignments 

The Customizing 'Maintain Object Types and Class Types' ( O1CL ) is not currently available as a Configuration Activity in S/4HANA Public Cloud
