3670737 - I-9 Document Upload Mandatory for List B and List C - Onboarding

Users were able to complete and submit Form I-9 Section 2 without uploading the required List A or List B and List C documents, but are no longer able to.

The system previously did not enforce the upload of List B/C documents (even when a photograph was required) during completion of Form I-9 Section 2. As a result, users were able to submit Section 2 without uploading List A or List B/C documentation.

The Engineering team investigated the issue and confirmed it was a system defect. A patch was created and deployed to correct the behavior.

Workaround applied before system fix was:

It is recommended to manually attach the required documents to the I-9 Audit Trail object within the Manage Data section. To locate the appropriate I-9 Audit Trail object, search for entries with "I9 Section2 Submitted" for the specific user. Once identified, use the following fields to upload the documents:

• List A Document 1 Attachment ID
• List A Document 2 Attachment ID 
• List A Document 3 Attachment ID 
• List B Document Attachment ID 
• List C Document Attachment ID 

Please note that while this workaround ensures the documents are stored correctly, but they will be categorized under "Uncategorized."
