Symptom

  • Sales order with delivery group and BOM items.
  • Error message VL123 occurs in VL10 (background mode) when attempting to create deliveries.
  • The system does not provide an explanation for why the delivery group is incomplete.
  • The materials are configured to create batch subitems due to the "AutoBatch Determination" flag set for Item Category in customizing (transaction 0VLP).
