3670918 - Balance Sheet/Income Statement App Shows No Values Under 'Balance Sheet' Tab

When executing the Balance Sheet/Income Statement app (ID F0708), no values are displayed under the Balance Sheet tab even though transactional data exists for the selected company codes, ledger, and reporting period.

This issue can occur if the Financial Statement Version (FSV) used in the report does not contain any assigned G/L accounts for the Assets and Liabilities & Equity nodes in the Manage Global Hierarchies app.

Without these account assignments, the report cannot derive balances to display in the Balance Sheet tab.

1. Open the Manage Global Hierarchies app.
2. Search for and open the affected Financial Statement Version (FSV).
3. Expand the hierarchy nodes for Assets and Liabilities & Equity.
4. If no G/L accounts are assigned under these nodes, assign the appropriate accounts.
5. Save and activate the hierarchy.
6. Re-run the Balance Sheet/Income Statement app; the Balance Sheet tab should now display balances correctly.
