3670929 - Graduated Totals not supported in Balance Sheet/Income Statement and Trial Balance apps

When using the Balance Sheet/Income Statement (App ID F0708) or Trial Balance (App ID F0996) apps, users may expect Graduated Totals (for example, subtotal calculations across account groups) to appear in the report based on settings maintained in SSCUI 'Define Financial Statement Versions', however the totals do not appear in the report output.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In the S/4HANA Cloud reporting framework, both the Balance Sheet/Income Statement and Trial Balance apps consume hierarchies defined under the new hierarchy framework (that is, Manage Global Hierarchies / Define Financial Statement Versions in Global Hierarchies).

The concept of Graduated Totals is not supported in this framework and is therefore not interpreted by these analytical reports.

The system behaves as designed. There is currently no supported workaround to enable Graduated Totals in these apps.
