3671154 - The candidate's manager's manager is assigned when the position is updated - Onboarding

Symptom

  • The job is assigning the wrong manager to the candidate, and the manager is being incorrectly set as the manager's manager.
  • The "OnboardingInfo" record indicates that the processStatus is "Not Created."

Resolution

  • If there's an open "OnboardingInfo" object related to the manager, it's being moved up one level in the hierarchy. Our engineering team is aware of this problem and is working on a permanent solution, with a fix date to be announced soon.
  • Workaround: Identify the stale entry in the "OnboardingInfo" object (as shown in the screenshot below) and run a script to delete it.

  • Please create a ticket with the Onboarding Support team to run the script. Include the following details in the ticket:
  • Component: LOD-SF-OBX-EC
  • Required information: Company ID, Support Access, User ID/Users Sys ID of the affected candidates, and the stale OnboardingInfo ID
  • Approval to execute the script for the affected candidates
