3671199 - Unable to set exchange rate via api_debit_memo_request_srv in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

Symptom

  • Debit Memo Requests with type DMR4 are being created via API using SAP Cloud Integration.
  • The field "Exchange Rate for Postings to Financial Accounting (VBKD-KURRF)" is not available in the API_DEBIT_MEMO_REQUEST_SRV OData V2.

Environment

  • Credit Memo Request and Debit Memo Request (Public Cloud)
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Debit Memo Request with type DMR4 (Debit MemoReq Manual) via API using SAP Cloud Integration.
  2. Attempt to set the Exchange Rate for Postings to Financial Accounting (VBKD-KURRF) via API OData V2 - API_DEBIT_MEMO_REQUEST_SRV.

Cause

Missing functionality. 

Resolution

This is current not supported for either Debit Memo Requests or Credit Memo Request API offerings.
