3671258 - Formation hangs with "Synchronizing" status forever when set up SAP Joule for Consultants

Symptom

  • When set up SAP Joule for Consultants, Joule formation hangs with "Synchronizing" status forever.

  • When click "Synchronizing" status, and within popup window, click "Show Technical Errors", following log can be seen:
    --------------
    Systems in the formation are currently synchronizing in the background.
    • Synchronization between SAP Consulting Capability System <xx> and Joule System das-application-ias is in progress.
    – The notification to Joule System das-application-ias is in progress for assignment with ID "<assignment id>" since <yy> hours.
    • Synchronization between Joule System das-application-ias and SAP Consulting Capability System <xx> is in progress.
    – SAP Consulting Capability System <xx> is waiting for configuration from Joule System das-application-ias for assignment with ID "<assignment id>" since <yy> hours.

  • When use <assignment id> shown in above log to check internal Joule log, could see error:
    --------------
    Joule for Consultants (J4C/SCC) cannot be included in the same formation with other integrated products. Please use a different sub-account and create a new formation.
    Invalid combination of products for the Formation with ID: <xx>
