3. Notice Canvas jobs stuck in "Waiting" status

This issue typically arises due to temporary server capacity constraints during peak usage periods. When multiple customers initiate high-volume or resource-intensive jobs simultaneously, the system may experience delays in job scheduling and execution.

Key contributing factors include:

• High concurrency: A surge in job submissions, especially during known critical windows such as the first day of the month, which in this case falls on a Monday—a day already associated with high operational activity.
• Re-triggering jobs: When customers re-submit jobs in response to delays, it increases load and exacerbates the issue, further slowing down the queue.

This is actively monitored by our Operations team. This KBA serves as a temporary measure. A more robust solution is being explored.

To avoid worsening the situation and ensure timely support:

• Do not re-trigger the jobs. Re-submitting jobs can increase system load and further delay processing for all users.
• Create a support ticket immediately if your job remains stuck for an extended period. Please include:
  • Company ID
  • How many reports are impacted?
  • Time of submission
  • Business impact
