Symptom

When you try to add a table partition by executing: "ALTER TABLE <TABLE_NAME> ADD PARTITION VALUES = '<VALUE>';" the following error is returned:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [545]: invalid partition spec: ADD PARTITION not supported for this partitioning type
