3671612 - Error 'Customer owned for HCP-ES in client' raised when saving Communication Arrangement involving Scenario SAP_COM_0597

Symptom

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
  • Document Management ( DMS )

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to the SAP Fiori launchpad in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.
  2. Open Communication Arrangements.
  3. Choose New to create a new communication arrangement.
  4. Select SAP_COM_0597 (Communication Arrangement Name).
  5. Choose Create.
  6. In the Common Data section, select the Communication System from the input help that was created in the Create a Communication System section.
  7. In the Additional Properties tab, maintain the property name Content Repository. This will be the same external ID that you used in the SAP Document Management Setup in SAP BTP section.
  8. In the Outbound Communication section, the OAuth 2.0 client ID is prefilled from the communication system.
  9. Choose Save. 
  10. Error  'Customer owned for HCP-ES in client' is shown

Cause

The Host Name maintained for the Communication System is incorrect or contains a prefix  

Resolution

The Hostname should not contain any prefix like  http://https:// or a trailing slash  ( a forward slash at the end of the url like api-sdm-di.cfapps.eu10.hana.ondemand.com/ )

An example correct Hostname : api-sdm-di.cfapps.eu10.hana.ondemand.com

  1. Use the app Communication Systems to update the correct Hostname 
  2. Save
  3. Create Communication Arrangements for Communication System and Arrangement SAP_COM_0597
  4. Save
