Symptom
During the migration of customer data for the migration object "Customer" with the tab "output tax", some tax entries are missing after successful migration.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
In migration template for Customer object, the combination of "Country/Region" and "Tax Category" in sheet "Output Tax" is not maintained properly in table TSTL.
Tax classification can only be migrated if the tax code for the specific company code is configured in the system, and RITA (Registration for Indirect Taxation Abroad) is active.
Resolution
Activate RITA and configure tax code for the target country, or setup a new company code with a plant, and assign the plant to a sales organization.
