Symptom
- Freight Order check-out fails because one or more deliveries are not marked as Loaded.
- It is mandatory business users perform loading activity before doing Post Goods Issue via Load/Unload Freight Orders App.
- Loading cannot be performed anymore after PGI done via Manage Outbound Deliveries app, leading to inconsistency or process deadlocks between TM and WM.
Users are forced to perform unnecessary manual loading steps even if not relevant to their logistics process.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Resolution
The system behavior has been enhanced to:
· Allow PGI independent of loading in Load/Unload Freight Order app.
· Loading is reported automatically during check-out Freight Order.
Prerequisites for this functionality to work:
1. Specify default warehouse under user settings from Fiori Launchpad, e.g., “1050”
2. Configure warehouse door and loading point relationship for EWM. This makes sure that for the Outbound Delivery order, the door and loading point is auto determined.
e.g., Warehouse door DR01 and loading point ASR_LP_01 are pre-configured.

Details steps:
a. In SSCUI Define Storage Sections, configure staging area as new storage section
E.g.

Z001 |
|

b. In SSCUI Define Staging Areas, configure staging area
E.g.
|

Remark: Make sure Goods Issue Activities column (GI) is selected, otherwise it’s not allowed to be maintained in the App: Determine Staging Area - Outbound
c. In SSCUI Define Warehouse Door, configure warehouse door
Ensure there are at least two warehouse doors configured under the same warehouse and default stage area group.
E.g.
|

S920 |
Z002 |
The Load Direction is auto set after saving, make sure it is O.
d. In App Manage Locations, define the location with location type 1200
e. In App Create Storage Bins, create two storage bins
Ensure there are at least two storage bins created.

f. In App Determine Staging Area – Outbound, add the door information
Ensure there are at least two configuration items for door DR01, DR02 which configured in previous steps.
E.g.
|
