Symptom

You would like to understand the reason for the Sales Organization related fields to be available in the Service Order entity.

Environment

SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to the SAP Service Cloud Version 2 tenant.
  2. Navigate to Service Orders work list.
  3. Open any order.
  4. In the header, see under Organizational Information, there are fields related to Sales Organization available.

Cause

In the context of the Service Orders, the Sales Organization related fields would be relevant to provide more information on the Company and the Distribution Details of the selling unit related to the service order.

Resolution

This would be the system designed behavior.
