3671993 - Completion Status ID displayed instead of Description for failed online items

Symptom

  • Upon completing an online item with failure status, the system returns the Completion Status ID instead of the description.
  • When an item is completed successfully, the completion description text is displayed correctly.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an online item with an exam.
  2. Assign the item to a user.
  3. As the user, open the item.
  4. Fail the exam.
  5. Click on "Verify Course Completion".
  6. Observe that the "Completion Status" ID is displayed instead of the description.

Cause

If the completion status description is null, the system displays the completion status ID.

Resolution

  1. Engineering has confirmed that the issue has been fixed in release 2511.
  2. The fix will be applied to preview and production instances during the Production release scheduled for November 14–16.
  3. If the completion status description is null, the system will display the completion status ID.
