3672100 - Decline Spot Award Error: The Spot award amount does not match the guideline

An error appears saying "The Spot award amount does not match the guideline" when you decline the spot award. The nominee moved from one country to another.

• SAP SuccessFactors Reward and Recognition

1. View Pending Workflow
2. Open the Award workflow
3. Click on Decline
4. An error will pop up saying "The spot award amount does not match the guideline".

The guidelines indicate that the nominee’s previous country had a guideline amount of 250 USD, and the current country has a corresponding guideline of 500 EUR.

It will result to a guideline mismatch error when an action such as approve, decline, or withdraw is performed on the Award Workflow because the system tries to match the awardAmount (250) with the current guideline (500).

1. Go to Reward and Recognition
2. Click Manage Spot Award Programs
3. Open the Spot Award Program then go to Guideline
4. Export the Guideline
5. Temporarily update current country guideline from 500 EUR to 250 EUR, then reimport the guideline.
6. Decline the award
7. Then revert the guideline back to 500 EUR. 
8. After that, a new award can be created using the most recent guideline.
