3672138 - Internal Job Alerts Email Notifications not Sent to Candidates and Job Alert Job in Provisioning Shows 0 Records - Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Job alerts email notifications are not received by internal candidates after the candidateJobAlert job finishes.
  • The provisioning job monitor shows 0 job alert records processed, sent, expired, invalidated, or encountered errors.
  • Splunk logs display the following error messages: "ERROR Deserializing cause-message: No enum constant com.successfactors.rcmjobreq.bean.JobReqBean.TemplateType."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. CandidateJobAlert job is configured successfully and Job alerts can be saved successfully.
  2. Internal candidates navigate to the Careers page.
  3. Select the Job Alerts section.
  4. Create a new Job Alert.
  5. Run the candidateJobAlert job manually in provisioning.
  6. Observe that no email notifications are received after the job finishes.

Resolution

This is an existing issue being investigated by SAP Software Engineering team. If you are currently experiencing the described behavior, please raise a ticket to Product Support.
