Symptom
A custom field has been created with the business context Shipping: Delivery Item and extended to the Outbound Delivery object. However, the field is not visible when attempting to add it in the Manage Outbound Deliveries application.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Custom Logic app.
- Click the Create button.
- Select the relevant fields.
- In the User Interfaces tab, enable usage for the respective CDS views.
- Save your changes.
- Open the Manage Outbound Deliveries app.
- Click Settings.
- The custom field that was created does not appear in the available field list.
Cause
Currently, custom fields created under the Shipping: Delivery business context can be extended to the CDS view C_OutboundDeliveryFs. However, extending these fields to C_OutboundDeliveryList, which corresponds to the “View Settings” screen in app F0867A (Manage Outbound Deliveries), is not supported.

Resolution
Since this feature is not currently available in the Manage Outbound Deliveries app, we recommend submitting a feature request to SAP for future consideration.
