3672156 - Multiple Paragraphs in One Field Displayed as a Single Paragraph in Email Body Using Custom Token - Onboarding

Multiple paragraphs maintained in one field during Review New Hire Data step or Personal Data Collection Step are displayed as a single paragraph in the email body using custom token.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Add field in Manage Business Configuration page and configure a custom token to map this field on email template.

2. During the 'Review New Hire Data' step or 'Personal Data Collection', the onboarding coordinator or candidate maintain text in three paragraphs within the field. Like,

        A:xxxxxxx

        B:xxxxxx

        C:xxxxxx

3. Trigger an email with value of this field as a custom token in the email body.

4. Observe that the custom token displays the text as a single paragraph, combining all three paragraphs. Like, 

A:xxxxxxB:xxxxxxC:xxxxxx

The custom token does not accept line breaks, resulting in the text being displayed as a single paragraph in the email body.

This is expected behavior.

Each field can be used to collect one paragraph and then map it to one custom token. For instance, three fields collect three paragraphs and then map them to three custom tokens.
