3672184 - How to change the internal number range to external

Symptom

The customer wants to change an internal number range to external so that he can use specific numbers within this range to create a BP. 

Environment

S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

Cause

Resolution

  1. Open SSCUI 102296 – Define Number Ranges.
  2. Check the current NR Status for number range 02 and temporarily set it to 0.
  3. Temporarily mark number range 02 as External.
  4. After creation, remove the External flag and restore the NR Status to its original value.
