Symptom

  • Users encounter repeated login prompts in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) when accessing stories or models based on a Live Data Connector connection to the universe.
  • Pop-up windows appear asking for credentials, despite the use of SAML Single Sign-On (SSO), which is expected to log in using a certificate.

Environment

  • BI Platform: 4.3 SP4 Patch 7
  • Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.x
  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14.9 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  2. Attempt to open stories or models based on a Live Data Connector connection to the universe.
  3. Observe that a pop-up window appears asking for login credentials, even though SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) is configured.
