3672387 - [RESOLVED] EU20 datacenter - S/4HANA ABAP Connection stopped to work, not able to use Replication Flow and Data Flow - SAP Datasphere

Symptom

Since 23.10.2025 - dataflows and replication flows stopped to work because of source system connection validation error: 

Replication Flows: Cause: ABAP connector(Axino) ABAP connection check FAILED: request failed: rc=1, msg="Message: Opening connection to backend failed: Timed out waiting for tunnel to open for tunnelId account:///xxx\nCode: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE"

Resolution

  • 24.10.2025 - Development team is working on this issue with highest priority.

    • Update: the root cause is found the in the Datasphere Data Integration infrastructure. Our colleagues are correcting the inconsistency at the moment.
      According to the current knowledge all Cloud Connector (SCC) connections are affected. 

    • NEW Update - RESOLVED: A fix has been implemented by the development team. Then the Connectivity Proxy service has been restored on our side.
