3672395 - Facing error when link existing leads to opportunities

When upload Opportunities via Data Workbench (DWB) and attempt to link them to existing Leads. Some Opportunities linked failed with the error: "Modify Failed, Error in determining DWB ID mapping for external key."

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Data Workbench
2. Select Import
3. Individual object with insert operation
4. Select Lead Object and Lead Business Transaction Document Reference
5. Upload the attached file and Simulate
6. Error "Modify Failed, Error in determining DWB ID mapping for external key."

One possible reason is the referenced Leads already had Opportunities created with Reference_Document_Type_Code, which is why the error is occurring during the DWB upload.

Example Scenario, Lead A initially had Opportunity linked, but user later deleted the Opportunity. However, since the Lead was already converted using a lead conversion status, the system still retains the conversion state. This prevents any further conversion attempts, resulting in the observed DWB error.

Leads already linked to Opportunities cannot be reused for new Opportunity creation.
