3672538 - Discrepancy in Format Mappings Between F1680 and F5608

Certain mapping formats that are available in the Manage Incoming Payment Files app (App ID: F1680) are not visible in the Map Format Data for Incoming Files from Banks app (App ID: F5608).

This discrepancy occurs because country-specific payment formats are not delivered by SAP in the Map Format Data for Incoming Files from Banks app, these formats are designed for specific local requirements and are therefore managed differently than generic formats.

This is the standard system behavior.

• Country-specific formats are not delivered in the F5608 app.
• For countries with local payment formats, users can choose to use either:
  • The generic format, or
  • The country-specific format, based on their business requirements.

Note: If specific country formats are required in the F5608 app, customers can create custom mapping configurations as per their business needs.
