3672620 - Add Compensation Plan Error when the xml is from Preview 2H 2025 - Compensation

An error as shown below is seen when adding a compensation plan or template xml from a Preview instance after 2H 2025 release.

SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

1.) Login to a production instance
2.) Navigate to Compensation Home
3.) Select Add new compensation plan available under Set up a New Plan
4.) With Add template radio button enabled, provide Template Name
5.) Select the xml file you exported from a preview instance with 2h2025 version under Choose File
6.) Click button Add template, and 
7.) Error Message is shown

hideInProfile and hideInForm xml tags are new feature from 2H 2025 or 2511 release version which is currently available to all Preview instances. This tags are not yet recognized in Production instances since Production instances are still in 2505 release version.

To be able to import compensation plan xml from Preview 2511 instances to Production 2505 instances, you must first remove or delete all hideInProfile="false" and hideInForm="false" in the xml file.
