3672663 - Update of Work Order Dates During FTE Transition - Employee Central

• A new hire for Regular Employment is submitted for a user whose effective hire date overlapped with the future termination date of their existing Contingent Worker employment record.
• While completing the hire process, the system processed the new hire and created a regular employment record that overlapped with the still-active CWK profile.
• The system did not perform a concurrent employment validation during the creation of the regular employment.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. In SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, create a Contingent Worker employment record for a user with a future termination date;
2. Submit a hire with regular employment request for the same user with an effective hire date that overlaps with the future termination date of the Contingent Worker record;
3. Complete the hire process;
4. Observe that the new hire data is processed, and a regular employment is created, overlapping with the active Contingent Worker profile.

Pending workflows are not included in the validations for overlapping employments as of current system design.
