3672678 - Style formatting lost for the new table experience when viewing a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Formatting applied using Style on the new table experience widget is lost when viewing a story in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Formatting applied to a table widget with a style is visible in edit mode but disappears in the view mode.
• After applying a style to the new table experience widget and saving the story, the formatting applied by the style to the table is lost when the story is closed and reopened.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.14.17

1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud, pen a story containing a table widget using the new table experience.
2. In the edit mode of the story, select the table widget.
3. On the right side, select "Styling".
4. Select a column to format in the table.
5. Under "Styling", scroll down to "Style" and add a style by clicking "+ Add Style".
6. In the new style, select a font, font size, color... then click "Apply".
   For example, set the font to Courier, Size 10, with the color orange.
7. Confirm the formatting selected for the style is applied to the table column.
8. Save the story.
9. Close the story and reopen it.
10. Observe that the formatting applied to the table for the created style is gone, and the style itself is no longer present in the styling options.

The issue is currently under investigation by development.

• Workaround: Use the "old" table widget, because the issue only occur with the new table experience widget.
