3672701 - Trend Element Blocks Not Forwarding To New Employment After Rehire - Employee Profile

• Trend information is not being forwarded to rehires;
• Background blocks are shared to all employments, but trend blocks are not forwarded.

1. Enable "Enable Person-Based Background Information Blocks" in Company System and Logo Settings;
2. Enable "Forward background elements from the previous (terminated) employment to the next when rehiring (with new employment)" in Manage Data > Hire/Rehire Configuration > MATCHINGUSERCONFIG;
3. Rehire user and check the blocks with trend elements;
4. Data is not forwarded from previous employments; 

Trend elements are part of the background elements and are linked to each specific employment, rather than to the person profile. 

As trend elements are not supported for sharing between employments, it is possible to export the trend information from the previous employment and import it into the new employment as detailed in the KBA 2091409 - Import & Export Process for Extended User Information in SuccessFactors HXM Suite.
