3672703 - Chart axis option "Dynamically Set Min/Max", does not work the same way in optimized design experience story, than in classic story, in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• When converting stories from Classic to Optimized Design Experience, the chart axis option "Dynamically Set Min/Max" does not function as expected.
• In Optimized Design Experience, the minimum values are displayed directly or very close to the x-axis line, making them difficult to read.
• In Classic Story, the minimum values are shown above the x-axis line, making them easier to read.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14.17

1. In SAP Analytics Cloud, create a Classic Story
2. In the Story, add a Combination Column & Line chart
3. Format the chart axis to dynamically set the minimum and maximum value.
4. Observe that the minimum values for the line on the chart are displayed above the x-axis line, and are easy to read.
5. Convert the Story to Optimized Design Experience Story
6. Observe that the minimum values for the line on the chart are displayed directly or very close to the x-axis line, which makes it very difficult to read.

Based on feedbacks, the chart axis option "Dynamically Set Min/Max" was enhanced to not leave gap for the bottom and top values.

There is unfortunately no option to change the behavior, other than manually entering the minimum / maximum values for the chart axis.
