Symptom

Error message: "OData Library: An exception without message text was thrown" when taking the course.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Learning
  2. Start the course
  3. Observe the error message displayed upon while taking the item.

Cause

This issue can occur for different reasons, such as the below:

  • The item/content being edited after Assignment or 
  • The content sending a logout command to the system.

Resolution

Re-assign the Affected item to a user who is currently experiencing the issue with that item.

And Launch the item as the reassigned user, this will solve the issue
