• Error message "Valuation type not set for material" appears when attempting to settle Product Cost Collectors using the app "Postprocess Event-Based Postings – Product Costing".
• The issue occurs specifically with Product Cost Collectors for product materials with split valuation.

The Product Cost collector with split valuation material is not supported.

Restrictions

The following scenarios are not supported by Product Cost by Period in event-based production accounting:

• Product cost collectors with mixed costing

• Product cost collectors with valuated sales order stock in make-to-order (MTO) scenario

• Product cost collectors with valuated project stock in engineer-to-order (ETO) scenario

• Product cost collectors for product materials with split valuation

• Product cost collectors with mixed settlement receivers of MAT (material) and non-MAT

This is a missing functionality, kindly raise a Feature Request instead.
