3672801 - Error "Unable to load the data. the current application version is out of date. please update to the latest version of this application" displayed in sap mobile validated app

Symptom

  • Following a recent system upgrade, the SAP Validated Learning mobile application is not functioning as expected and is inaccessible to users.
  • An error occurs when opening the SAP Validated Learning mobile app: "Unable to load data. The current application version is out of date. Please update to the latest version of the application."
  • The issue affects both production and pre-production environments.
  • The desktop browser version is functioning correctly.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Mobile Application
  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning Module
  • b2505.19

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SAP Validated Learning mobile app.
  2. Error message displayed: "Unable to load data. The current application version is out of date. Please update to the latest version of the application."

Cause

  • The issue is most likely caused by the new version of the application not yet being approved for release on the App Store following the system upgrade to a newer version in the validated environment.

Resolution

The solution of this issue is currently under investigation. Please follow this KBA for updates.
