3672828 - Unable to select or maintain job relationships during rehire with new employment in Manage Pending Hires from Recruiting module

Employee was rehired with Accept Match in Manage Pending Hires -> Recruiting and proceed with the Rehire with New Employment process, not able to select or maintain the Job Relationship for the employee as blank rows are coming.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Manage Pending Hires

1. Access Recruiting via Manage Pending Hires

2. Choose sample user

3. Give Event Reason as New Hire

4. Give Accept Match related fields

5. Continue

6. In Duplicate Check -> Choose Rehire with new employment

7. Enter the Event Reason as New Hire again

8. Give changed Username

9. Continue till Job Information Section (delete sections if needed or fill mandatory fields)

10. Can see message There are no visible columns in the table right now. Please select the columns you need in the table settings. message under Job Relationships section

11. When click on Add, blank Job Relationships are coming

• This only happen in Recruiting to Employee Central with rehire as new employee case when:

1. There is not pre-fill Job Relationship record
2. There is onInit rule to create Job Relationships

• The code follow doesn't consider this condition.
• The server side doesn't create an empty row (include metadata) to UI. 
• Hence, UI cannot display any column when click add button.

• The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.

Workaround

• Disable the onInit rule and add a onSave rule raise a warning message if a Job Relationship record is required to force user manually add required Job Relationship.
