Symptom

Save button is missing when editing position from Manage Data or Manage position.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance.
  2. Navigate to Manage Data or Manage Positions.
  3. Open the position.
  4. Click on Take Action.
  5. Check if Save button is available.
  6. Save button is not available.

Resolution

  • The issue will be fixed via patch PTCH-48294 (2H2025 P4) which is scheduled for 11th Nov 2025.

Workaround

Please use the 'Insert New Record' option to update the position.
