The following error occurs in the gateway trace (dev_rd) of an SAP ABAP system.
- *** WARNING => NiICreateHandle: no more free handles (2500) [nixxi.cpp 525]
It indicates the exhaustion of the network handles in the gateway. Consequently, when this error occurs, the gateway is no longer able to accept additional connections at that time. This means that the gateway can no longer be accessed for external or internal communication, especially for RFC.
