3673111 - "Address Line 1" & "Address Line 2" Under The Addresses Facet Of BP Replication Accepts Only 40 Characters

Symptom

When performing Business Partner replication from ERP to C4C to update the "Address Line 1" & "Address Line 2" containing more then 40 characters length, it gets truncated in C4C and only 40 Character length gets updated.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator -> Web service message monitoring
  2. Open SI :BusinessPartnerReplicationIn  
  3. Open the payload, and you can see below nodes with long texts 
    <StreetPrefixName>
    <AdditionalStreetPrefixName>
  4. check on UI facet 
  5. Full text from the payload is not updated under address 

Cause

This is a technical limitation.

Resolution

The C4C standard fields "StreetPrefixName" and "AdditionalStreetPrefixName" both have a max-length of 40 characters in C4C.
