3673134 - Error in Replacement Order Creation with Minimum Order Quantity

Error message displayed when attempting to create a replacement purchase order with a quantity below the minimum order quantity defined in the purchasing info record.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a Return to Supplier Order.
2. Create the delivery.
3. Create the replacement order with a quantity less than the Minimum Order Quantity defined in the product master data.
4. Click on Save.
5. Observe that the document is saved but with error messages.
6. Click on Show Log.

The system is unable to differentiate between a normal Purchase Order and a Replacement Purchase Order. This is system behavior.

The recommendation is to change the error message into a warning message so the document can be created without errors, for this follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to Manage Your Solution.
2. Select Configure Your Solution.
3. Choose Make the settings that are relevant for working with purchase orders.
4. Select Configure in Define Attributes of System Messages (102364).
5. Locate message 06216 Order quantity below minimum order quantity & & from info record.
6. Change the message type from E (Error Message) to W (Warning).
7. Save the configuration.
