Symptom
- Story designers are now able to directly add hyperlink to Button Widget in optimized story since SAC 2025 QRC4 update
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.21
Resolution
- Since SAC 2025 QRC4 update, users are now able to define hyperlink for button widget by clicking on the three dot graph button beside the button widget and choosing Add-> Hyperlink.
- Empower story designers to use the button widget with a defined hyperlink to more seamlessly navigate between story pages, transition across different stories, and create a range of interactive experiences.
- When defining this hyperlink, it is able to link to "Mobile App URL", "External URL", "Page", "Story", "Popup" as well as "Data Analyzer".
- The button widget is now available for Story Designers to use in standard mode without requiring advanced privileges.
