Symptom

  • Error encountered in Software Update Manager (SUM) update phase PREP_INSTALL/SUBMOD_PREP_INSTALL/INITSHD while performing an SPS update.
  • Error message: "API: Setting 'SUM/446' in secure store failed with 3: Update of the secure storage is locked by user <sidadm> from host <hostname>.
  • Log snippet:
