3673345 - Service contract Item remains to be 'Open' status instead of 'Released' status after data migration - Migrate Your Data app

Symptom

After data migration in the 'Migrate Your Data' app using migration object 'Service contract', the status of the Service Contract Item remains 'Open' instead of changing to 'Released'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

 The following field is not filled in the 'Item' sheet of the template file.

  • Indicator: Item Is Released

Resolution

For the status of a service contract item, set either the indicator Item Is Released or the indicator Item Is Completed. If neither indicator is set, the status of the service contract item is Open.
